MassLor is a Mass Spectrometry Research Infrastructure of the University of Lorraine and the CPM Scientific Pole. Its objective is to offer its expertise and know-how to academic and industrial partners, Lorraine, national and international, in the field of Research & Development and services.

The platform relies on the expertise of 3 Professors, 2 Lecturers, 2 Research Engineers and 1 Research Engineer. It benefits from SMQ StAR LUE labeling from the University of Lorraine. Rich in experience that began in 1985 (development of the first FTICR 3T LSMCL laser microprobe), MassLor Metz joined the TGE-FTICR network in 2010, now Infranalytics.

In 2019, the platform received support from the regional cooperation fund for research as part of the ResEx project, which enabled the purchase of a new FTICR 7T 2xR Bruker and the development of research projects through a consortium. of 6 laboratories in the Grand Est region.
